I couldn't recommend the the team behind IWP more for their professionalism, and willingness to dig deep in order to find a solution for the more nuanced coverage needs. IWP takes a personal approach to the insurance business - getting to know and educating the buyer prior to the transaction. If you have dealt with other insurance brokers in the past, you should know that this is truly a lost art!

Derek spent a lot of time helping me get a policy. He went over the details and paperwork with me to make sure I understood it. It wasn't a huge policy that had much money in it, so I was pleasantly surprised how much he went above and beyond for me and my business! I will be sending others his way in the future! Derek is great. He answered all my questions & responded in a timely manner to all my questions. He wasn’t able to improve on my terms because our business is so specialized but provided great feedback and insight into the insurance buying process. This will help us when we find insurance.

My partner and I had finally come to a crossroad where we really couldn't ignore the exposure our business created. When it comes to a small business, this is a good crossroad to come to but it's still not joyful because it means it's just one more thing you need to navigate. We had both tried shopping around for the policies we were interested in but it quickly became clear that the normal consumer-facing contacts you reach out to at your typical providers were not at all familiar with commercial or business needs. We spent a full two days just getting passed around to rep after rep before I had the epiphany that this must be what a broker is for! That may seem silly to some but although I'm not young, I'm young enough to go to the internet first for all needs and had always shopped my own personal insurance needs this way so never had the opportunity or desire to work with a broker so it wasn't on the forefront of my mind. After doing a little research and asking around here locally in The Woodlands, Derek's name came up and I reached out and the rest is history. He listened to our needs and within one hour of that conversation he had us further through the process than I had managed in two days. He's a great listener and communicator and, added bonus, he always seems available for questions! My partner and I have already laughed several times at our futile efforts to complete this task originally ourselves and how easy it was for Derek. As a small business, we are naturally inclined to try and tackle every item between the two of us...this was one of the few times we relented control and the ONLY time we couldn't have been more happy that we did. I contacted them for coverage on my business. The initial consultation was more than thorough. I was provided with an abundance of knowledge as well as options. The coverages and options presented were more than I could have expected and extremely competitive rates.
